No More FBML for Creating Custom Fanpages

No need to panic though! Facebook will still support Fanpages already using FBML code. It will only affect Fanpages wanting to create a custom page from 2011. Here's an excerpt from Facebook Developers list of changes expected in the first quarter for 2011

No need to panic though! Facebook will still support Fanpages already using FBML code. It will only affect Fanpages wanting to create a custom page from 2011. Here’s an excerpt from Facebook Developers list of changes expected in the first quarter for 2011:

The last entry states: No New FBML Applications: We will stop allowing new FBML applications, but will continue to support existing FBML tabs and applications. Instead, we recommend using IFrames. Everyone who have just spent money on their Fanpages – breathe!!! This is directly from Facebook and whatever anyone else tells you – don’t let it worry you.

So for those making a living out of creating Fanpages and adding fanpage tabs they will need to learn to play with a new code called IFrame. Many internet marketers have started the transition of changing their code generators to change html code to IFrame code and to get a basic custom page there are plenty of sites offering to generate it for free if you think you’re savvy enough to have a go at building one.

If you want the more professional mini website appearance with all your social links and website link attached then I highly recommend you leave it up to the experts and do what you do best – building your business.

We not only offer fanpage creation as one of our Social Media Services starting from $247 but we also know how to integrate your Fanpage into the rest of your Social Network to make sure you’re Socializing To Profit and not just collecting fans on Facebook.
