The latest results from Get Satisfaction confirms why the big brands use special offers and deals on Facebook and Twitter. 70% of us participate in brand sponsored competitions and team that with the two largest online social sites and the influence of gathering followers to grab a deal is HUGE!
So what is it that attracts the fans? The giveaway’s from entering the competitions? Not really – unless you plan to ALWAYS be running a competition to maintain the growth of your fan base.
As a professional owner of a business page it is recommended you have a professional profile presence in Facebook and display the profile on the bottom left of the fan page as the Page owner. The main reason is it give your business credibility (a face behind the business), but there are other marketing reasons to using this simple strategy.
